Hi, looking at the configuration files you've posted in https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/graylog2/HoCQf_JnXmk it seems like they've been "polluted" with Windows line-endings ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newline). Please clean up those files (server.conf and elasticsearch.yml) and try again.
