Hi Pete, which browser (exact version and operating system) are you using? I've just tried to reproduce this on Chrome 43.0.2357.81 and Safari 8.0.6 on Mac OS X 10.10 but the functionality worked.
Do you see any error messages in your browser's JavaScript console?
