Hi Karl,

the script you've linked to is using a very old version of Graylog2. Please 
upgrade to a more recent version (latest stable is Graylog 1.1.6, Graylog 
1.2.0 is just around the corner).

We also offer ready-to-go images for VirtualBox which you can use to setup 
Graylog instead of some homebrew script, see 
http://docs.graylog.org/en/1.1/pages/installation.html for details.
