Hi, I have 2 Graylog VMs (I set them up from the official OVA, stable branch 1.3.3.).
* (VM1) On one location I want to retrieve, cache and forward data. With caching I mean. that I want to hold them for some hours, should the connection be severed due to networking issues etc. * (VM2) One the other location I want to retrieve and store the data. I want to run the web ui there. Is that a scenario which Graylog supports? I just started doing it and my Elasticsearch cluster went red and I was unable to login to the web ui. I simply followed the guide: http://docs.graylog.org/en/latest/pages/installation/graylog_ctl.html#multi-vm-setup VM1: sudo graylog-ctl set-cluster-master VM2 VM1: sudo graylog-ctl reconfigure-as-datanode Could someone please give me a high level overview on what I need to do? Does it make sense to configure VM1 here as-server and to set a Kafka journal size of 200 GB?
