Hi, I have installed syslog output plugin on Graylog 1.3.3 but after configured a stream rule I receive following errors:
2016-02-23T13:26:28.739+01:00 ERROR [Messages] Failed to index [1] messages. Please check the index error log in your web interface for the reason. Error: failure in bulk execution: [1]: index [graylog2_6], type [message], id [a9a29660-da28-11e5-a100-005056b53e8f], message [MapperParsingException[failed to parse [level]]; nested: NumberFormatException[For input string: "13>1 2016-02-23T13:26:28.420+01:00 unknown unknown - 10.29.25.28 [all@0 level="5" gl2_remote_ip="10.29.25.28" gl2_remote_port="56151" source="10.29.25.28" local_level="5" message="<173>3508: Feb 23 12:26:27.366: %SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by Q784301A on vty0 (10.3.100.8)" gl2_source_input="56c62e5a0cf2a7a40f44a96d" local_facility="sys" mnemonic="config_i" gl2_source_node="c6aeb753-c841-476f-b8ed-5715ef6b8bf5" _id="a9a1fa20-da28-11e5-a100-005056b53e8f" facility="local5" timestamp="2016-02-23T13:26:28.416+01:00"] source: 10.29.25.28 | message: <173"]; ] And no packets are forwarded to server. There is a fix for this plugin or I have to configure some rules into a syslog that forward log input messages to Graylog and servers.
