Hello, Forgive me, I am new to Greylog. I am running on version 2 and have installed a few nxlog client on Windows 7 and 10 to capture event logs. I am going to be redirecting linux hosts' output to Graylog too in the near future.
I initially thought sidecar was to centralize configuration, but I am suspecting that it should be installed on all clients. So, each client will need 2 things installed. One software will manage the configuration of the other. I still need to manage the config for each sidecar manually. Is that true ? It kind of feels wrong, so maybe I'm setting up something incorrectly.
