Hi Marius, You where right, *graylog-ctl enforce-ssl* alone will activate SSL and expose the server to the external IP.
The problem that I had, was because I tried to expose the server first with *graylog-ctl set-external-ip* and then make that connection secure with *graylog-ctl enforce-ssl*, making the server to have mixed encrypted and non-encrypted connections for the reason you just explained.
