Sorry, think I've answered my own question reading another thread from earlier today. Am I correct in inferring that I can do:
sudo rpm -Uvh https://packages.graylog2.org/repo/packages/graylog-2.1- repository_latest.rpm sudo yum update sudu yum install graylog-web and it should preserve users, settings, log data, etc.?
