This is a known problem which will be fixed with Graylog 2.1.2 (to be released today or within the next few days). As a workaround, you can disable GZIP compression for the Graylog REST API via the rest_enable_gzip <https://github.com/Graylog2/graylog2-server/blob/2.1.1/misc/graylog.conf#L97-L99> setting.
