I'm quite frustrated with this, and am getting nowhere. it's far from intuitive , but I'll muddle though Any help I can get from folks here would be appreciated.
Ok it gets worse, 1) When I try to save the stream with the rule I get that error message in the previous post. 2) I decided , screw it, I'll start from scratch, deleted the input I had created , created a new one, and when I try to start it, I get a error message it can't assign the IP, bu t it's my workstation so I know it's good.and there are no firewalls or other devices between us. I'm now getting even more errors. Attached is my input config, and the error msgs.
