1. Spin up instance in VPC with graylog 2.1.1 AMI
2. have all ports open for the instance(for test only) when coming from my
IP
2. assign public IP address
3. run sudo graylog-ctl set-external-ip http://<public ip>:9000/api/ with
public IP address
4. Run sudo graylog-ctl reconfigure
5. in browser hit http://<public ip>:9000 to access Graylog Web Interface

Receive this error...

We are experiencing problems connecting to the Graylog server running on
*http://<my
internal ip>:9000/api/*. Please verify that the server is healthy and
working correctly.

Also checked /var/log/graylog/server/current and didnt see any errors in
those logs. Anyone else experience this issue? I dug through the
docs/github/google group issues and tried changing the web and rest uris to
the external ip using
sudo graylog-ctl set-listen-address

however i get this error javax.ws.rs.ProcessingException: Failed to start
Grizzly HTTP server: Cannot assign requested address

any help would be greatly appreciated! Let me know if more info or logs are
needed!
