It works fine for me as long as I edit the script file in UTF-8, as
pointed out by Anthony, see attachment.

Save it as UTF-8.  I don't have a chinese font installed, but I
do see two "extended" characters:

Which I believe would work if I had the proper font.

P.S. This sort of topic (about making user scripts) belongs on -users
rather than -dev.  Unless you've got an actual change to GM itself to
suggest.
