Understood Anthony and thank you for your help and willingness but
found the little bugger that was causing the problem. Another part of
the code had a piece of setValue in place of a getValue which was
screwing up the whole dynamics. Once that was fixed, everything else
went fine. Thanks everyone for trying to help. Appreciate it.
