Thank you for your reply. obvious performance reasons: I do not want a GM script to run on every webpage I ever visit due to a wildcard character.
The reason I need it to run on the local page is due to the following: I want to register a menu command (greasemonkey only function) that I use the resulting value in the same script that also runs on a domain for a page I run in an Iframe. If I register the command in the Iframe, it does not appear in the GM right click menu in my page. I don't want to have to browse directly to the site to change the configuration params of my script.
