Even the easy link subscription does not remove all the banners. I am guessing the ads here also include the ads given put up by various "application" too. For example, top ads in Mafia Wars put by Zynga are not removed as they are not considered as ads by ABP. Also, in any case, if any layout tweaks are to be done, the best choice if greasemonkey. In this case, ABP does not come to your rescue.
