I don't use Facebook, nor have an account there.  But chances most 
definitely are that the script in question has executed before the 
Greasemonkey script runs.  In that case, removing the script node from 
the DOM has no effect, the script has already run.

If you want to block scripts, one of the many ad blocker extensions is 
going to be your best bet.
