Good point, still it was set up that there was a "general user"
profile that was loaded over the network whenever you log in... any
changes are not saved. some people had special superuser status and
their own profile stored on the server up to 10 mb where if they make
customizations it gets saved and re-loaded on any computer they log
onto.  It seems like global userscripts could be stored in just about
any location if one were to customize a version of GM.  It would be
interesting to make these paths easily configurable since there are
scripts that I definitely don't want in my profile folder or anyplace
someone would look for that matter, or a flag that would keep the icon
from indicating a script is active.
