Just to clarify some things: you are using (at least) three pieces of software: 1) The Firefox browser 2) The Greasemonkey add-on for Firefox 3) At least one userscript for Greasemonkey It is very unlikely that Firefox or Greasemonkey are responsible for the observed behaviour. Chances are that a script is causing the problem. If you are not familiar with the Greasemonkey extension yet, please first read [1] to lean how to identify potentially problematic scripts and how to enable/disable them.
