As you may know, the status bar is being abolished in Firefox 4, in favor of the new Add-on Bar. It works like any other toolbar, except it is togglable and its buttons may be organized and moved across toolbars. Greasemonkey 0.9 still only uses the antiquated status bar. Will this be changed sometime in the future? Currently, the Greasemonkey icon is the only one inhabiting my add-ons bar, as many extensions have already implemented the new buttons.
To my knowledge, these buttons are backwards compatible with other versions of Firefox besides 4, so even if the status bar option was totally phased out, most users could still have access to Greasemonkey's menus. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "greasemonkey-users" group.
