Hi,

Maybe this is for security reasons, but I don't really understand why.

I'm the author of Reddit Enhancement Suite, a script that adds a bunch
of functionality to Reddit. When it does things that require
*reddit.com cookies, such as requesting JSON data for a logged-in
user, or changing accounts, etc, it fails if "allow third party
cookies" is unchecked.

Checking that fixes the issue, but I don't really understand why
GM_xmlHTTPRequest wouldn't send *reddit.com cookies to reddit when
they're really first-party cookies so far as I understand.

Anyone know why this is?

Thanks,
Steve
