Most extensions work with both the following ways when customizing
options:

1. You can select options wherever the icon is located within the
browser (add-on bar, address bar, etc.)
AND
2. You can go to Tools > Addons > Extensions > [ext name] > Options.

Why does Greasemonkey use only #1 and not both above? The only options
in #2 are to change the editor and Uninstall preferences. Most
extensions use both.

Is there a reason that all of GM's other "options" are not also
included there? Is it not possible to merge all into one option UI?

This would make things a bit more simple for users who are having
issues with GM, such as the frequent "Where did my monkey face go?"
kind of thing.

If all options were merged into one, then it wouldn't matter if the
monkey icon was seen or not. In fact, for people wanting to save
precious screen space, the icon wouldn't even be needed at all.

Just a thought.
