I wrote a script 2 years ago and have been using it in Seamonkey. I

script in Firefox 4?

I read the manual. It says if the file ends in .user.js (it does) I can
drag and drop it on a browser window or use file open and Greasemonkey
will intercept the file load and open an installation dialog. For me
this does not happen. The browser window just displays the text of the
file. It all seems so simple, what am I missing?

Nevermind, I changed my desktop scheme and didn't realize it was not enabled. Sorry for the noise.
