Could you make it so that firefox wont cache *.user.js files? Not everyone has access to their server's configuration so they can't make their server sent a no-cache header, and because of the caching of javascript files firefox may not see a new version of a script when updating.
Also shouldn't greasemonkey parse the metadata after a script update?
