I've just release the first beta of 0.9.18 to the AMO development channel.
The primary change is that automatic update checking is enabled by
default. Also, by default, only scripts hosted on secure (https://...)
URLs will be automatically updated. The developers would appreciate any
feedback about this new version. Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure if you are talking about GreaseMonkey itself or user
scripts or both, but as a user I would certainly like the ability to
change the default if I wanted.
