Also let me know how I can track time like when a user loads a page I should show them a start button and it start should track time when user clicks the start button and it should stop when user clicks a submit button which is already in the page by default and save the details to a csv file or text file. Thanks in advance.

You don't need a process that starts and stops. You just need to save the times when the two buttons are pressed, and subtract the start time from the end time.
