I don't know why but editing scripts never worked for me, including latest version of Firefox and GM.
Scripts are always stuck at version 1 until browser restart. Even when I create new script and set @version to 2 in initially, Greasmonkey's script manager still uses version 1. gm_scripts/config.xml seems to contain correct version and modified time.
