I got the same exact problem since v1.13. But only after removing the script called "google domain blocker". Firefox will not open after i remove that script if greasemonkey v1.13 is installed, doesn't happen with v1.12. Doesn't help if greasemonkey is completely uninstalled and all scripts are gone either after that.
