Why can't i install a script file (js) by browsing files in my computer? Why only click on webpage links? I would like to save the script file and install it later. But greasemonkey doesnt provide us an option to install from our computers.
Greasemonkey will install user scripts from the file system also, as long as the files are named <somefilename>.user.js. For those files, Greasemonkey will show a message that the script has been recognized as user script with a button to install it.
