There are a number of magnifier add-ons that would probably do this
better than a script.

Hi,
I installed Greasemonkey 3.1 on Firefox 38. I know I can press CTRL
and + to zoom in current page, but this most of the time corrupts
display of web page. Some times I forget my glasses and it would be
excellent if I could turn on some Greasemonkey script to enlarge only
part of the current page where mouse icon is currently positioned.
Moving mouse would just zoom the part of web page the mouse cursor is
currently on. See attachment for a sample.
Is there some script like that?
Thanks
