Unfortunately, when I did that, Greasemonkey did not ask to install it. instead it was simply displayed on the browser. My firefox version is 57. Operating system is Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I'm attaching the script which I tried to load although I'm pretty sure that there is no problem with the script since its a copy of a working script which I got from openuserjs.org. Thanks a LOT in advance. Greasemonkey is awesome!!
