Would it be possible to get a version of the FF extension (and presumably other browsers) that doesn't required read/write access to all tabs? You can set the permissions to `activeTab` in the manifest which makes it so the extension only gains access to the page when you click the extension icon. This means I can give greasemonkey access to google.com, without giving it access to all of my bank accounts and secure email.
