BCATA - British Columbia AgriTourism http://www.agritourismbc.org/
A provincial committee has been established to strategically guide future efforts which address the challenges faced by agritourism operators. The British Columbia AgriTourism Alliance (BCATA) was incorporated under the Society Act on January 9, 2002. Its constitutional mandate is "to facilitate the development of an inclusive and viable provincial agritourism sector." The BCATA Board of Directors is comprised of industry stakeholders and private sector organizations with long-term interests in the development of a sustainable agritourism sector in BC. A government liaison group headed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries with representation from Tourism BC provides support.
