Foundation for Integrated Research in Mental Health (FIRM),
Thiruvananthapuram, is organizing a three day residential course on
'Sexuality and Human Rights' at Chaithanya Pastoral Centre, Kottayam on
2005 August 22, 23&24. Post Graduate students, Research Scholars in Social
Sciences and associated subjects and activists in the 20,30 age bracket can
apply. 20 candidates will be admitted. This is an introductory course that
covers various basic topics in sexuality and human rights. The participants
are expected to pursue serious studies in the area of Sexuality and human
rights. The training programmes are interactive and involve: Group
exercises, Assignments, Presentations, Film shows, Discussions and Sessions
by resource persons.

We shall provide second class train/bus fare, food & accommodation and
course materials. A registration fee of Rs.100 will be charged from each
candidate. Interested candidates may apply with detailed bio data and a
short note, either in English or Malayalam, not exceeding two pages, on
