SC rejects Daya Nayak's bail plea

The Supreme Court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of suspended encounter specialist Daya Nayak.
Nayak was arrested following a case of disproportionate assets registered against him by the Mumbai Police.
He had challenged an order of the Bombay High Court, which had rejected his anticipatory bail.
The High Court had also rejected the bail plea for his alleged associate Rajendra Padte. However, Nayak's wife Komal had received bail.
