killer YANKEE stay home!!!

National School of Drama in collaboration with We for Bhopal and Jan Natya
Manch presents "Children of the Fog (Bhopal Gas tragedy)" on 1st March 2006,
at NSD, open air theatre at 6 pm. It is written and narrated by Pawas Bisht
(Final Year, Mass Communication, Jamia Milia Islamia) and dance performance
by Rashika Ojha, a classical dancer. The performance will be accompanied by
visual footage of the disaster, news blurbs and photographs. Using three
different mediums this is a deeply moving and chilling insight into the
tragedy seen from the eyes of the unborn child in Bhopal.

NSD and Jan Natya Manch will present a play written and enacted by students
to mark the protest against Bush's visit to India.

"Children of the Fog" will be introduced by readings from "Bhopal Gas
tragedy, a book for young people" by Suroopa Mukherjee. The reading will be
done by Sudhanva Deshpande of Jan Natya Manch and will give the audience a
background to the industrial disaster.

The event will be marked by an exhibition to express protest against Bush
and his visit, poetry recital and other spontaneous presentations.

WFB is contributing two panels for the exhibition. WFB intends to present
its views on Bush by drawing attention to what is happening in Bhopal. Two
slogans have been coined as theme for the exhibit, "Jhadoo Maro Bush Ko" and
"Bush come back with Warren Anderson". WFB will make the student community
aware of the march by Bhopalis and also show footage from the film on the
march by Sudhir Aggarwal.

As a joint collaboration this will have a wide reach with students from
different universities. We are calling for participation by as many
interested people, groups and institutions.

This will culminate with the demonstration on 2nd March when groups from
various constituencies will march from Ram Lila Ground to protest against
Bush's visit . WFB will distribute leaflets and draw attention to the
protest march and demands by the Bhopal survivors.
