i could'nt agree more.... I have always thought this to b a play of time. Earlier the so called higher classes suppressed the education of the backwards...... now there is absolutely no distinction between forward and backward classes......(i am refferring to the urban areas where ive spent my life). I never pick forward class students for my projects or to be friends, generally......the class distinction is not there except when it comes to admissions.....there is absolutely no reason to increase the quota as such..........u might have a quota for ppl frm rural areas......that will lead to development....
This actually leads to cheating....ppl fake backward class certis to get into institutions.......... i will add an example........ Ther was one person with aggregate marks of 59% who got the same engineering seat as i did.........he never cleared a subject in the one year he spent there.......In fact all his fee was waived off bcos of his class........then i find out that he was not a backward class candidate at all......he was a bhramin who faked his certi to get admission.........and my friend who was just one mark below me had to enroll into a inferior college bcos the admissions to the open category had closed at my marks........i just felt it was unfair to do such a thing......
