Dear friends,
I wish to invite you all to patricipate in a discussion, Place For Sexuality & Gender Justice in the contemporary social, political and cultural lives of Malayalees.
The discussion is scheduled at 5pm on 13 sept in the Sahithya Academy, Trichur to coincide the release of a book comprising 16 scholarly articles on the subject originated from different spheres of social/cultural activity.
The function is basically organised by the publishers SIGN BOOKS, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,apart from being also co-organised by some of the concered citizens'groups based atTrissur who consider such a discussion to be highly opportune and relevant for our times.
In a tentative program as communicated by the organisers: Dr.M.Gangadharan will release the book by handing over a copy to the distinguished writer Sara Joseph. The discussion is to be on a presentation of the topic by Dr.K.Gopinath of Univerity of Calicut , who is also a contributor in the book to be released at the function.
Any case, the venue, date,time and other things are already fixed.
I request you all to try your best to make it convenient to attend.
