Repeal Armed Force Act:: Sharmila continues fast at AIIMS
"I have been fasting to protest against the injustices
the Government of India has committed upon the people of Manipur and
its silence on the issue of Armed forces Act," -Irom Sharmila
Irom Sharmila continued her fast, demanding the repeal of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act, at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The police moved her there from Jantar Mantar, the venue of her protest, on Friday night.
