This has to have a response I do not think I am entirely anti corruption. Just went through the website you pointed out - it was creepy to say the least - I have no clue about the BSNL and no vested interest in it - and also know that there are a number opf problems with the way it is run - but what u point out in your site are extremely problematic When people like u r promoting the efficiency of private sector and cannot make it to the BSNL in any category - u blame governance - and people who r willing to stay with BSNL despite tempting offers from private telecom companiea (There are efficient alternatives to BSNL if u just would bother looking without the blinders) - You grudge the BSNL CGM - by the way BSNL is an autonomus institutioon and taxpayers do not subsidise them - 15000 worth free calls - when her contemporaries in the private sector will make some twenty times that in perks. The Central and state governments hve to pay - if you in any remote way understand accounting practices - for their empl;oyees misuse of the services Further if you have personal pronlems with employees of BSNL _ your allegations against people was mere defamation (given your hypersensitivity - believe me I do not get the sense of corruption about a single person you talk about in your website). By the way - BSNLs employees hve not taken a bribe in the last fifteen years that I have negotiated with them - including the lowest of the staff - let us seriously analyse why this is so and not go by personal disenchantments (Am in no way claiming that BSNL is non-corrupt). In the whole this looks like a personal exerxise of disenchantenment - whatever reasons for your problems with BSNL - please do not kill one of the few remaining good public enterprises - let us look at ways where we can hold out in terms of "efficiency", "justice" and all those things for which we claim to pretend to pay taxes and let us not play irrespomsible to one of the first citizens legislations that we got together (RTI) and defame it by misrepreseting the information we get from there There are bigger fights to be had with the BSNL - have to admit that your website is as much fun, fantastic and misinformed as Fleming's 007 Let us be responsible for our acts and use the RTI well lest it be sabotaged as being misused like most of the good legislations we have from the dowry prohibition act to sc/st atrocities act by vested interests
