Dear Friends, You may have heard that Dr. Binayak Sen (Batch of 1966 from Christian Medical College, Vellore) was imprisoned this afternoon, May 14 in Raipur for his civil liberties work among the tribals of Chattisgarh. We are requesting for his immediate release by petitioning the President of India, Prime Minister of India, President of the National Human Rights Commission and Governor of Chhattisgarh.
