More than the *choices* how can any elected government carry on with this kind of unilateral moves without bringing such issues for a public debate to the midst of citizenry - especially when these may have far reaching consequences for all those living here.
Things may be so in a corporate world, where you work, Deepak, which is forcing you to think accordingly. But not so in a democracy, and more so when there are attempts to subvert its spirit. Corporates employees have agreed to remaining silent if Corporate goes on an offensive more detrimental to any public interest - but not so in a democracy. None of us have signed with government that we will remain a silent spectator no matter whatever initiative comes up. That may be a subtle difference - but that's where noise and protest gets demarcated.
