so, you mean to say you should install versions without support? support is
something that is needed, at least thats wot i understand.. not everybody
can be a software programmer to fix bugs as and when they find them.. once
again, u r narrowing down choices here.. u seem to suggest that "buy free
software only if the edition with support costs less than windows"..
editions with support can/should be bought.. and when the society moves to a
more FS-based society, it would be a profitable thing to start shops
offering AMCs at lesser costs.. and then, people would setup those
businesses.. and thus, it would thrive..

i dont find any meat in the argument that only support-less versions should
be bought..
