some times back , a leading malayalam daily published a photograph of a woman [in close up] being attacked with a knife by her husband. There was uproar from a large section of the reading public about the editorial policy. All decent readers agreed upon the point that it was unethical to publish such ' explicit' photographs in the front page [ a page reserved for public issues like war, group war and intra groupwar]
