Dear Friends, June 26th is being observed as the International Day in Support of torture victims. This is a day on which we pay our respects to those who have endured the unimaginable and speak up against the unspeakable. It is long overdue that a day be dedicated to remembering and supporting the many victims and survivors of torture around the world.
As part of the National Campaign against Torture we are organizing a gathering of torture victims and supporters on 25th June 2007 at the Press Club Trivandrum.
