· *Strike continues on 10th day, Mr. Manmohan Singh human right infringement and constitutional violation are happening 5 kms away from your residence, forget about **AUSTRALIA**.* * * · *RDA president falsifies fact to put blame of resident doctor's death on striking doctors.* Braving all odds students and resident doctor's of AIIMS under the banner of PMSF continued their relay hunger strike on 10th day also. Prof. Venugopal in his only meeting with striking doctors had assured them that he would submit all information pertaining to the selection to high powered Ministry of Health Committee chaired by Mr. Naresh Dayal, secretary Health, by Tuesday, 24th July. He has failed to do so. Mr. Naresh Dayal had also in his meeting with PMSF assured them of expediting the enquiry. · Given the above two facts and also that none of the aggrieved (those who had qualified the written but failed in practical) resident doctors from reserved quota were given interim appointment by either Prof. Venugopal or Ministry of health. PMSF General body meeting convened on Saturday, 28th July *decided to continue with the relay hunger strike*. We once again reiterate our Charters of demand (implementation of due reservation (53 out of 106 seats, written apology for physical assault, and objectivisation of selection procedure). · GBM also decided to *send a delegation to Chairman, National SC/ST Commission* to request him to intervene immediately and thank him for vindicating our stand of AIIMS reservation policy being un-constituitional. *Propoganda to put onus of resident doctors death on striking doctors* · All resident community of AIIMS is aghast at the stand of RDA executive over the demise of one of our collegue. · The capitulation of RDA executive in front of Prof. Venugopal was witnessed by over 100 doctors who had gone with him to confront director regarding the harassment of Dr. Sunil Kumar by his faculty. · The obvious fact that Dr. Sunil's Thesis was delayed for 1 and half year i.e. he was not getting any pay for last 1and year, makes it a open and shut case of harassment by his seniors. Statements to this fact were also given by his wife.
