I didn't call her terrorist - I said her being a Maoist is not
conclusive - I can't judge one way or other from the info available on
the net. *If* she is a Maoist, there is no question of supporting her.
It is likely that she is not directly involved in violent crimes even
if she is a Maoist, but support for Maoist terrorists itself is a
despicable thing.

Police brutality is a reality in India that the civil society and the
political class has to deal with. I reiterate that Maoism or any such
violent movement is not the answer to police brutality. It should be
noted in this context that everyone in the political class, be it the
bourgeois parties, 'nationalists', socialists,  revolutionaries or
Dalit leaders, without exception, refuse to institute any reform in
the police and the bureaucracy, because the current set up suits them
fine. Count on the "people's movements" people to continue in this
tradition if they capture power.
