Firozabad: A Dalit woman, whose son was accused of eloping with a girl of another caste, was burnt to death while her family members were held hostage in Sirsaganj area here on Friday, police said. Goondas set the woman ablaze in Krishnanagar area of Sirsaganj police station area. The woman later died in a hospital in Agra. Two persons were arrested on Saturday, Superintendent of Police V.K. Garg said. Her family members were later freed, he said.
