Some days ago after the big war on moderation a self claimed split away group is created by Geedha, She wrote it to greenyouth as follows "A new uncensored non moderated Google Group .......... grey youth movement is created as a protest to moderation in cyber space ...... "(ref. http://groups.google.com/group/greenyouth/msg/236fed79cd14b46b) The stated purpose of the list was "People can discuss anything without moderation. 'Everything from activism to intellectual life'. This group is created in protest against the cyberspace moderation and censorship.Thisgroup does not consider moderation essential for constructive discussion " Arunima posted the first mail in new group Well done, Geedha! Keep up the good work, without fear of alternatives and difference! I am also a member in that group in a positive spirit even though its major purpose is bashing me. While i looked a their groups settings today morning it says Anybody can view group content Only members can view group members list Anyone can join Members can create and edit pages Members can upload files Only members can post All messages are held for moderation Messages from new members are moderated The Modified Purpose of the list is People can discuss anything without moderation( except spams). This group is created in protest against the cyberspace moderation and censorship.This group does not consider moderation essential for constructive discussion ( ref: http://groups.google.com/group/grey-youth-movement/about?hl=en-GB) Please compare his with greenyouth's moderation policy discussed in the list multiple times. or see our group settings in http://groups.google.com/group/greenyouth/about The policy change is no discussed on that list so far. Thanks for your insight deepa paul, on greyishness & youth some People protested against moderation here are members of fully moderated grey youth movement. On a first look i have seen some names like C.K Vishwanah, Christy, Jenny chithra, Ranjit, sudeep, Arunima etc. I am not commenting anything.
