That's what I precisely said: jokes are all about prejudices. I don't know if there is some other way of cracking a joke. One fruitful question you can ask in this context is whether jokes legitimise our prejudices. But even then I guess the deconstruction of one set of jokes will result in the creation of another set of jokes and yet another set of prejudices: the way Srinivasan did in some of his movies. Looking at it that way any sort of pleasure includes swallowing prejudices of all kinds. All of us are party to it, whether you like it or not. I am wondering how would a pleasure-less, joke-less world would look like: maybe like Auschwitz or Gulag.
