*Senior Programme Coordinator** **

*THE ROLE*: To coordinate and supervise all Dalit Foundation training
programmes. To monitor and review the progress of trainees/fellows/partners
and organise various training programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to
the changes that occur in the work environment; To Contribute to workshops
and training sessions along with resource person. To supervise the regional
coordinators; offering guidance and direction to them as needed; improving
their capacity to meet their objectives. And providing effective and
efficient management and leadership of the Young Professionals programme
consistent with its objectives and planned activities.


*THE PERSON*: Dalit Foundation is looking for a committed individual with a
minimum educational qualification of a master's degree in social sciences/
social work. A minimum experience of 3 to 5 years is required. The
individual must have excellent communication skills with fluency in English
and Hindi and should be willing to travel extensively.

The individual should possess leadership qualities and must be equipped with
good inter-personal skills. In addition, the person must have a positive
spirit and a passion to work in the field of human rights. People with
experience with grass-root level organisations and movements will be
preferred.

*EMOLUMENTS:* Will be based on the experience of the person and will be upto
Rs. 3.5 lakh per annum

Candidates from discriminated communities, especially women, will be given
preference

*Regional Coordinators** **
 Dalit Foundation*
 Location: Southern and Eastern zone
 Last Date: November 20, 2008

*THE ROLE*:To coordinate all training programmes being organised in the
respective regions; To Participate in various training programmes of Dalit
Foundation and to assess and monitor grants and fellowship programmes
through regular field visits of the respective regions


*THE PERSONS*: Dalit Foundation is looking for 2 committed individuals, one
from the Southern zone (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, A.P and Karnataka)and from the
Eastern Zone (Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, West Bengal). The
candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of a master's
degree in social sciences/ social work. A minimum experience of 2 years is
required in working with grass-root level or human rights organsations.

The individuals must have excellent communication skills with fluency in
English and Hindi. The candidate from Southern zone should be fluent in one
of the regional languages. The candidate from the Eastern Zone should be
fluent in Oriya, Bengali or any other eastern regional language. The
candidates will be based in their home towns and should be willing to travel
extensively.

Rs. 2 lakh per annum
